Fox’s Marina Yacht Club (FMYC) is a members only Yacht Club. It is owned and managed by its members.
After the commercial venture in the yacht club buildings was closed on 24th December 2009 a start up team was formed to attempt to negotiate the reopening of the club. After six weeks of negotiations it has been agreed that the club will re open on the basis described in the following text.
The Club is affiliated to the RYA and has addopted the standard constitution with localisation based on the RYA guidelines.
The Club will be run as a ‘proper’ Yacht Club with an elected committee.
The Annual General Meetings will co-coincide with the Laying-up Dinner. ie Late October/early November
